Frequently asked questions.
Pricing & timing.
Our fees are structured with the following in mind...
- Project Fees with Included Revisions: Our fees cover revision rounds, ensuring your project meets your standards, on budget and on time. Have many stakeholders? Need more 1-on-1 time? All of this goes into consideration when determining the project fee.
- Customizable Service Tiers: Let us know what level of service you're looking for, from cleanup to custom graphics and animation.
- We have a blended hourly rate that includes several designers, an art director, account and asset management, and content production.
Once we determine the scope of your project, we will create an SOW (statement of work/estimate) for your review and approval.
We require an upfront payment for any sum under $5,000. For sums above $5,000, we require a 50% deposit with balance due prior to delivery of final files.
Our preferred method of payment is ACH/bank transfer, and it is an easy set up from our QuickBooks software. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) with a 3% convenience fee. We also accept checks, but snail mail may delay the kickoff date of your project.
Academic & Professional: In most cases, turnaround will be 48-72 hours. If you need your file in less than 48 hours, we'd be happy to accommodate your rush timeline with a 25% rush fee.
Startups: Development depends on the length of your piece, whether or not you have the content developed, and whether or not you have a look and feel or template we can place it into. Depending on complexity, a typical deck turnaround can range between 3-10 business days.
Corporate: Nearly 90% of our corporate tier clients are on retainer, which allows for faster delivery and no rush fees. Typical turnaround ranges between 24-72 hours without content development time. Longer projects, such as corporate templates and projects with multiple stakeholders, can range 10-15 business days, which includes feedback time.
Complex project turnarounds start at 3 business days.
Services.
R+C is known for offering creative design services with a specialty in presentation design. Our team of Presentation Specialists, Project Managers, Content Producers, Event Support Staff, Show Operators, and other areas of creative staffing make R+C a great extension of your in-house design teams!
Great! We’re glad you’re here. We love working on custom templates. Send us a message through our CONTACT US page and send us what you’re currently working with (if you have one!).
As presentation designers, we define master templates as the blank slate starting point of any set of presentation slides. In contrast, a corporate deck is a set of presentation slides that have all of your business’s most essential information already filled in. While your corporate deck will need to be updated regularly, a template will stay the same (in that it will serve as a base for many presentation designs).
See “What’s a master template vs. a corporate template?” to learn more about the difference.
We can also train you and your team on best practices and tips for how to effectively use your new branded template.
Check out our Marketplace! We have a wide range of template options for one-time use. We also offer add-ons such as quick cleanup of your content and more.
Your sales deck is the first stop in often the first sales process and a very important part of your branded collateral. Message us through our CONTACT US page or chatbot and send us what you’re currently working with (if you have one!) so we can start a conversation about how best to help you. Leave the design work to us so you can focus on selling!

Yes, someone on our team can serve as your graphics operator. This service may be particularly helpful to you if you don’t need a full-fledged presentation design and would rather have a lower-third component to reinforce your in-person or online keynote speaker.
Yes, when you need a team to help you gather assets or large amounts of information and organize each piece in a meaningful, helpful, and secure way – you know where to find us.
In short, YES! Our small but mighty team enjoys jumping on a plane to support you in person. Name someone better to support you during a presentation than the design team that helped you craft your presentation. We’ll wait. 😀
We sure do! One of R+C’s core values is Education. We are Nerdy for PowerPoint™ and always happy to share our knowledge. We can craft a custom training for you and/or your team, based on the topics you want to know the most about.
Policies.
If we have delivered a file to you (either a draft or what is presumed to be final) and we have not heard back from you regarding further edits within 10 business days, we will consider the project complete and closed. Any future changes will be billed at our standard rate.
R+C observes the following holidays and observances and will not be open during this time: New Year’s Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Indigenous Peoples' Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Christmas Day. During the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, our team works a reduced schedule.
Because we set aside time and resources to dedicate to the provision of services, we cannot accommodate cancellation or refunds of any kind once work has begun.
For single projects: If we are in a situation where overages are expected to be larger than 10% of the estimated time budgeted for a project, R+C will alert the Client about a needed change to the SOW.
We utilize Dropbox to facilitate file storage and transfer to the Client. Following the conclusion of the project, we will continue to host the files for your convenience for 90 days before removing them from Dropbox.
If you prefer to use your own storage solution, we will need access for three (3) staff members to facilitate an efficient workflow.
We acknowledge that we may come into possession of confidential and proprietary information belonging to the Client, including but not limited to trade secrets, business plans, financial information, and customer data. We agree to maintain the confidentiality of this information and to not disclose it or use it for any purpose other than performing the services outlined under this contract. This obligation of confidentiality shall survive the termination of this contract.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with this contract, including any claim related to the PowerPoint slide design services provided, shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for our services. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
